VITAL is a speculative design project that imagines a near future where waste is no longer discarded, but revered. In this world, landfills are mined like quarries, ocean plastic becomes fuel, and every material, once seen as waste, is recirculated with intention.

Presented as part of Le Cuvier, the work explores new methods of fabrication inspired by both ancestral ingenuity and contemporary material innovation. Recycled aluminium and Polyonyx are cast using gravity-led processes, allowing the materials to define their own textures and forms. These pieces reject industrial perfection in favour of spontaneity and autonomy, honouring the unpredictable beauty of reuse.
