Luminous Forms
Presented as part of Melbourne Design Week at the historic Villa Alba Museum, Luminous Forms is a series of three sculptural table lamps that explore the inherent beauty and translucency of Polyonyx.
Each lamp celebrates the interaction between light and recycled material, revealing swirling patterns, subtle opacities forged from plastic waste. The designs highlight Polyonyx’s capacity to refract and diffuse light elevating the discarded into objects of quiet elegance.
Set against the ornate backdrop of Villa Alba, the works invite reflection on material value, heritage, and the future of sustainable design.
